UK puts Hungary on its quarantine list
According to recent news by BBC, travellers from Hungary to England, Scotland or Wales should be prepared to be quarantined by the authorities for two weeks.
The new rules will take effect at 4 a.m. on Saturday. The provision also applies to British nationals. The measure is being introduced against countries with more than 20 infections per 100,000 people. In the case of Hungary, this ratio is currently 31.6 per 100,000 people – HVG informs us.
Entrants have to fill in a so-called contact locator questionnaire, which states where they spend their time in solitary confinement and how to contact them there.
Violators of quarantine regulations can be fined a thousand pounds (400 thousand forints) in England.
